About Once again I found myself in a familiar predicament: a low light macro with no room for a tripod. I was almost standing on my head, and in doing so, selected an odd point to focus on. I'm not sure if the lighting and colour (which I think turned out well) compensates for the blurriness and imperfect composition. I would really like to know what others think of it and hear any suggestions for improvements. :-)

i like it. color is good and the blur doesn't bother me. sounds like watching you trying to get the shot would have been quite entertaining. 8)

I think the colour and light make this a good pic and the composition is ok too.In fact,I find only the out of focus centre flower slightly distracting.

The blur isn't too bad, but would've been better without.

The colour and saturation of the slide film really makes this shot wonderful... the best part for me is the out of focus large yellow flower in the top left... I think I could look at that corner all day!
This is a very unique composition, which I think works really well... the smaller flowers at the bottom really pull attention to them with the soft sunset light.
There are tripods you can buy at photo stores, or London Drugs, that are super small and fit into tight areas nicely. I like this image, but I think it would have been spectacualr if there was just a little more DOF on the middle bottom flower.
As it is, I would still enlarge this and hang it on my wall. (9)
