Very cool shot- great perspective for the best view of the patterns in the roof and columns. This should have more comments- it is really good!

thanks Kay....actually I have a shot taken at DeGaulle Airport in Paris that's ever cooler..got quite a few comments initially..
I am also on an interesting site called Better Photo.com that has a contest every month...one of my 'door shots from Greece' was just picked as a finalist from 22,200 entries...felt good about that....

Hi Joe- just catching up on some of my emails- I have been on BetterPhoto for over a year now and have had several finalist shots- I like that site a lot, but it lacks the instant feed-back this site has. No email notifications mean you have to check your portfolio all the time. My site is here- http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/bio.asp?memberID=82467
Congrats on your finalists spot- it does make you feel like you are doing something right, doesn't it? I will look for your work there too. another cool site I like a lot is called "Unique Exposures" http://www.uniqueexposures.com/gallery/index.php
They are friendly and family like. This one here is still my favorite one of all the sites I belong to.

hi Kay...will check out the site you mentioned....yes it does make you feel like your doing something right when your work is sited...
I like usefilm.com a lot too...but recently I posted some photos that I thought were pretty good ...but they haven't drawn a 'peep' from anyone? I try to not let that get me down too much..photography is just a hobby and I know I have a pretty good eye...so I let it go at that.
I had thought about taking a course on Betterphoto (wide angle) but just think they seem a little overpriced?
Anyway thanks again for your support...I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year...cheers
