Hi Angelo, there's more to this shot than meets the eye looking at the thumbnail. The presence of the snail was a nice surprise opening the photo, as it does add a needed point of interest. I can't help wondering if a different appproach to the subject could've created a bit more "punch" in this photo.
Perhaps a lower camera position, a shallow DOF? Not easy with a medium wide angle, but still. Another alternative that crossed my mind is to crop it square, but then again, I'm not fully aware of your intention with this photo. The top side does seem to fade away a bit in the overview; if you knowwhat I mean.

This is the best I could do of a bad job. I had greater hopes for it, but I was hurried: I too could sense the rain and had fallen way behind my companions. I didn't even change from the 15-30 to the 28-80...
This is already a crop and I hesitated to crop it more. I attach the un-cropped one.
