Hi Michael, prior to reading the about, I would've guessed this was a corporate type of shot; displaying a group of colleagues / sales team / support staff. I would've never guessed that these people form a Funk band....:)
The tonal range is excellent, as isth e level of contrast. the high key background works well, although I would do some work on the top right corner and the reflection in the frames, top middle.
