Hi Tim, Good to see more of your work! With our recent trip to the North West Pacific, I completely understand where that magic comes from. It was difficult NOT to shoot with your style in mind. I'll be posting various landscapes and stuff in the near future, just to let you know that your photos inspired me; It's easy to say they'll all dedicated to you, but also quite true.

The leading line by the path through the grass is extremely strong and important for this photo; it not only opens up the composition, but also breaks the rather stricht division of the frame beautifully. Cool to see how little things can influence a photo (or painting, for that matter)

Merry Christmas,

Cheers,

Hugo

Nicely composed shot, Tim! I like the amount of grass that you have left in the front. Beautiful sky, too!

Love the way all the lines lead the eye into the image, the path and grasses, shoreline and waves, you even managed to position the clouds appropriately!

I like your perspective here, with all the foreground grasses, Tim! Great colour, too.
Dave.

What a display of colours under that beautiful sky! Wonderful! The grasses look magnificent in colour and movement. There is a light coming from somewhere and bathing everything is a mellow colour.A great capture!
