To answer your question...20D vs 5D...Not even comparable...The 5D is really amazing. I just love all the little details you can find in any shots when viewing your images at 100%. I am really Happy with my purchase. :)

This beautiful and highly original image somehow looks more like a hyper-realistic painting than a photograph... in the best possible sense, almost too good to be true. I've stopped adding your photos to my favourites, Patrick. It's easier just to come and browse your wonderful portfolio... Have you tried the new panorama upload function? Some of my panoramas have really profited from the higher pixel count!

Great to hear you're enjoying the 5D. I look forward to seeing more of your digital images. One question about this shot was the boat anchored? I'm assuming so or else with an 8 second exposure you'd see some motion blur.
