Paul Boocock   {K:8314} 12/30/2005
Magnificent shot Hanggan, loads of detail here that gives us an insight into this womens life; well done.

George Black   {K:101993} 12/30/2005
A very fine, sensitive shot. The composition is excellent in terms of showing the context and also of placing emphasis on the woman. The cat is a splendid element as well. And the b&w is nicely rendered and stylistically right on target.

Happy New Year!

Hanggan!

Your images never fail to cheer me up.

A woman, a cat, and some plastic sacks... evidence of food preparation. Me, I want to lunge in with some legumes...

I hope that your new year is a prosperous one, with lots of exotic Indonesians and memorable things to photograph!

Yeah!

Paul

Oh my goodness, what a great photo. Very moving. Great b/w as usual, and what a slice of life. The skinny cat really adds the finishing touch. Well seen.

Good luck in your new office. I've nit been commenting for awhile, alos, due to a number of factors. I am so far behind. Your B&W's are so crisp and every detail is shown so well. These sare great shots.

I really like this shot. That cat is precious! I know what you mean about commenting, life can be so unaccomadating sometimes. But seeing your images puts a nice perspective on life too. Balance is the key, I think.
