Great lines and perspective Jeanette! Looks perfect in geometry and somewhat threatening, and so do the clouds and the colors of the whole composition. Hi Jeanette, i like the almost plastic feel of the building in this one. Too clean and too perfect. But that is what I think makes this photo. Very nice shot, ands a perfect angle.

I would categorize this picture in Abstract first! The observer knows that it's a building but more she looks at it and more she asks herself: "Is it really a building?!" There is a "refined" and "purified" aspect in this picture that make the mind imagine "what-else" objects. And the fact that it might be an "other-than-building" object frees the imagination for other source candidates: a kind of shaving machine or razor or even a postmodern packaging for a chocolate bar...
So it's an abstract mind-triggering object with multiple interpretations!
Anyhow: precise shot, beautiful light, impressive and eye-catching shape. Congratulations.

I guess the unreal look of this triggered your imagination :) It surely look plastic as Hugo says... Is the reality only a set of possible interpretations ? ? ? A postmodern packaging for a chocolate bar is a great candidate

I changed the LEVELS of the sky, cause it was lighter then this... but i saw the opportunity and liked better a dark dito. Also it seems more unreal like this and i liked that... and of course as a bad weatherreport ;) But close the the origianl otherwise.

Hi to you sweet Jeanette..I'm back from my 'rest' but straight into computer problems. The silly machine won't let me post but allows me to comment. Repairs are due to commence on Friday.
I do like this composition; the shooting angle is brilliant and the title fits like a glove. The tones are wonderful and the perspective is awesome. A very powerful image my dear friend.

Tres belle prise Jeanette, j'aime beaucoup l'angle que vous avez pris pour cette photo, ca donne une dimension d'infini, sans fin. Avec le ciel charge, gris, cela rajoute plus d'effet sur le sujet, plus dramatique.
