Hi Jeanette,
This one is very interesting. As I stare at it, it seems to transform into a sort of optical illusion. Pretty cool!

Best regards,
Bob

Giulio Rotelli   {K:28375} 1/1/2006
un'altro grande scatto della grande Jeanette...
mi piace molto la prospettiva dei due edifici dai lati che guida lo sguardo verso lo sfondo e verso l'edificio protagonista.
Gran bel lavoro...

Markus Scholz   {K:22743} 1/2/2006

Beautiful and personal interpretation of a city so much photographed.
Ciao, Jeanette!

Mohamed Banna   {K:34207} 1/2/2006
WOWWW jeanette
very nice angle to this great building
it is some how one of the most famouse ( neo- arabian ) concrpt
the designer took the idea of ( mashrabia ) which is an arbian (window screen) to avoid SUN in the arb area,, and he used a very (high - tech) way to make it movable ( this window screen close and open depending on the sun amount )
i visited this building when i was in paris 1997..

any way you catch a great architectural angles from the city of lights and nights ,,,, and also great buildings
i will try to search for a shot i took to : " LA DEfANCE "
it is also a great subject and sure you will not miss it..

you did a great JOB dear

WAEL HAMDAN   {K:7476} 1/2/2006

shapes, colors and geometries compose this fantastic "abstract" of the series ...in Paris
this release, wanting, encloses also political meaning...

ciao

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
Thankyou Mohamed! Yes the apertures in the wall are amazing, such work and such an idea. I don´t understand the Arabic window screen, how it worked out. But it sounds brilliant, hot sun has to be avoid.
Yes i was in La Défence as well. The other images is from there....the previous ones! Amazing place :)

Jeanette

lovely muted color Jeanette.

Hugo de Wolf   {K:184670} 1/2/2006
Hi Jeanette, the composition in this photo intrigues me; howdid you come up with this one? I think the individual shapes interact very well together, although I'm not quite sure that's the right phrasing. The soft tones and low saturation is also very subtle, as is the additional diagonal line between the light and shadow on the concrete wall. Top Notch composition and POV...

Cheers,

Hugo

Cesare Baggiani   {K:1470} 1/2/2006
Fantastic geometry...I tryed changing the colors balance. Do you like it??

Jan

Mark Sherman   {K:15436} 1/2/2006
I thought it was a small tapestry. As soon as you look to the left and right and know what they are it jumps to a quite grand size. Wild !

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
It gets even more surreal with your re-work!

Jeanette

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
HI Hugo, i´m glad you like the soft tone and low saturation. I tried to saturate but saw it had morw winter mood like this. Otherwise you know how much i like strong colours!

Jeanette

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
