Jeanette, what a great angle, what great lines and complete perfection of the forms within the frame. An artpiece indeed. BR, n.j

Reagard

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 1/2/2006
Amazing angle, geometry and intriguing detail! It looks like a machinery - something sci-fi! Great architectural composition! Best regards, Ina

Verena Rentrop   {K:14417} 1/2/2006
so, so different detail from what I expected from the last shot...

well presented...

Cheers,
Verena

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 1/2/2006
Actually, Jeanette, the window details look like multiple camera shutters! :) Ina

Ayşe Sanem Çolak   {K:4516} 1/2/2006
full of ornements!! i like this soft and cold tones.

Mireille Heirendt   {K:7258} 1/2/2006
Incredible angle here...as if you were hanging on the façade and taking the photo above your head!
Excellent work, Jeanette!
Mireille

Paolo Corradini   {K:49871} 1/2/2006
;) we have similar view!

Endre Novak   {K:12534} 1/2/2006

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
HI Ina - it´s multiple apertures as in a camera. Read Mohameds comment on previous post, he explain a lot about them. They actually also work as aperture, open up when it´s dark and get smaller when it´s bright! Quite cool, isn´t it!
:)

Jeanette

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
HI Mireille - imagine how that had looked if i did ;) Hanging on the facade, that had been something ;) But i´m very close, as close as i could come.

Jeanete

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006
Have you posted already ???? ;)

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 1/2/2006
Brilliant idea, and amazing decorative effect! Superb crop, too! It is traditional but looks very hi-tech :) Best wishes in 2006! Ina

Kathy Hillard   {K:25721} 1/2/2006
Very nice abstract, Jeanette! This is even cooler after reading your reply to Ina! Well done, again!
Kathy

Mohamed Banna   {K:34204} 1/2/2006
again
(JUST GREAT)

here it is
"the arabian window screen"
we called it "MASHRABIA"

they add it in front of the windows at most old building to avoid the hot sun , and sure it makes nice shades and shadows

you can find some photos to it at:
http://www.usefilm.com/image/1015964.html
http://www.usefilm.com/image/1013729.html
http://www.usefilm.com/image/1012686.html
http://www.usefilm.com/image/1002326.html

enough :)

and the at L'institut du Monde Arabe they made movable (open and close refering to the light and sun amount )

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/2/2006

There is that signature triangle again. Very nice patterns and detail. Don.

Danny Brannigan   {K:16057} 1/2/2006
Not only do we get a superb photograph but we also get an architectural history for the same price.

m.c.lopez&lalage     {K:148} 1/2/2006
I love the shapes created with all these lines up in the sky.

karen clarke   {K:18847} 1/2/2006
Very interesting building built up of squares and circles. Interesting find~

Federico Bottaini   {K:3613} 1/2/2006

thomas M   {K:923} 1/2/2006
great compostion as well as angle...

regards, tamas

Aram Gharib   {K:4062} 1/2/2006
Great angle and beautiful abstract indeed. And the art of shooting a reflection-less glass façade! And making an abstract view of some traditional thing, modernized and hi-tech-ed by the architect... an amazing series of conceptual transformations. Congratulations and thanks for sharing this superb view.

a. gianfranco baccelli   {K:19315} 1/2/2006
Olalà, c'est magnifique! Beautiful perspective and nice light.

Giulio Rotelli   {K:28375} 1/2/2006
questo edificio sembra sia stato progettato e costruito apposta per te: il continuo ripetersi di forme geometriche modulari crea disegni astratti che vanno a nozze con il tuo stile fotografico:
7/7 per la ragazza che viene dal freddo..

Orazio Minnella   {K:46638} 1/2/2006
Compliments,again another beautiful cityshot.

Subhash Sen   {K:11055} 1/3/2006
You continue to be very special with your compositions ,cheers, subhash.

JC Flowed   {K:1068} 1/3/2006
Hi Jeanette, I like the very strong perspective in this one, as well as using the diagonal composition to take it out of the ordinary. Nice low level of saturation, too...

Bye,

JC

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 1/3/2006
Hi Jeanette,

for sure a classic architecture shot which I really like because of the tension caused by the competing lines and planes, the textures and tonings and the small triangle formed by the sky.

best wishes,
Thilo

Ninni Termine   {K:8961} 1/3/2006
The cut and the low-angle shot area really guessed right: very good composition.

An other example of musharaba, if you want, you can see it at:

Ciao
Ninni

Beautiful skyscraper -- so artistic. Lovely perspective and light. Happy New Year! Antonia

Robert Kocs   {K:89061} 1/3/2006
Splendid continuation, great geometrical formations with lovely aslope lines. Reminds me the Constructivism age (ie: Mondrian, Kandinsky...). Lovely modern architectural composition with great solutions. Very nice very simple ornament, stunning diagonals. Very well composed abstraction! No doubt, that's very inspiring work dear friend!
Well done dear Jeanette! Saved my favs! :)

My best wishes!
Robert

I return... and...

Another transformation, a translation, and a new series of architectural shots...

I really like this one, simple, geometric, and an interesting iris detail that repeats into space.

Gust@vo Sch3v3rin   {K:115879} 1/4/2006
