You caught her in a good pose, Neil, and I like your composition with the background. It all makes for a very rustic scene! BTW, is this a cow on the common, or a common cow?

Dave,
While the more "common" varieties of cow here in the UK are Fresian, Jersey and Highland, they have introduced some less "common" varieties on the Common!
I'm not sure exactly what breed this one is, but they were selected for their hardiness and ability to cope with the many people and activities that go on on the Common.
