| About |
Not sure if I should call a sheep a playground in this politically correct age, but I did used to work on farms a lot and we did gather these ungtrateful creatures many times in the year - we'd clip their wool, remove the dung throm their tails (called "golding"), dip them to get rid in insects, feed them daily in winter, rescue them when they got stuck in hedges and help them give birth to their lambs.
And all they did was struggle and kick you!

lol Ade, nice "About", the ending made me chuckle - I imagine you are very right!
I like this sheep "portrait" for a few reasons, the main being the pose it has and the horns it sports, something I've never seen on a sheep before!!
I like the colours, very rich, and as I said, the "about" made me smile.

And then you took a terrific photo of one. Nice! I do find myself wishing to see a bit more of the detail of the ram's face.

As a youngster growing up my father told me "son if you are going to choose a sheep choose a good looking one" and thank goodness all the good looking ones were in Northumberland. Well Ade you have chosen a very handsome on and I hope you will be very happy together.Whatever will Marky say.
