They should turn this into a postcard for the guests to buy. As you know, not my fav. hotel chain but your excellent choice of the perfect spot to shot this from makes it look fantastic - I bet it's never looked better. Excellent job on this one Paul ! Very good work, Mark 7+

A beautiful night shot. Lovely reflections and those tall trees with those red and blue lights are stunning. Looks like a great place to ring in the new year. Hope you had a wonderful time.

I'm back after a small sabatical from UF and short flying holiday. Unfortunately we couldn't go far from the airport because of intermittent rain so I didn't get much in the way of aerial photos but enjoyed the break anyway.

Have a great 2006 Paul.

Cheers - Ann :)

A 'short flying holiday' ?
Do you have a plane?

Ann Nida   {K:45248} 1/7/2006
Yes Paul we have a small 2 seater Cessna with some rather unique modifications on it. Can land just about anywhere. It's a Texas Taildragger C150 with a vortex generator kit on it and has big fat bush tires on it. Here's a photo of it.

Cheers - Ann :)

Nice catch and great place, Paul. I've spent dozens of nights in this hotel and it is among my favorite Marriotts. This is a great view of a beautiful place. Nice to catch the riverwalk in the foregroud.

Mark

sorry your fireworks got fogged out. Ours were pretty good.

How very cool, Ann!
I've logged many hours in a standard (tricycle) 150 and it's a fun plane to fly (if you have patience to reach your destination).

this one caught my eye the most.

The contrast of dark and light is perfect.
