About ...is in Texas. Probably one of the best formations I have seen after being through over 15 caves. Wonderful. This is a pool surrounded by Helectites.

Shot at ISO 1600. The original is grainy.

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22106} 1/5/2006
Correction, CAVERNS OF SONORA, by Sonora Texas. Near San Antonio is Natural Bridge Caverns, not as pretty, but some massive and outstanding flowstone formations.

Wonderful capture Michael, Great clarity and diffinetly something we don't see everyday, very well composed and captured, the clarity is amazing for 1600ISO, cheers,

another nice shot from this cave. I can agree, wonderful. I really like those cave. If you want to see one very nice, you should go to Luray's Cavern... take a look at my portfolio, there's two or three pics from there.

WOW what a fantastic vision for the 12-24mm. love the clear view below the waters surface and all the clear details of the cavern.

why ISo 1600? u can shot them even lower with quality image to appear! can't say much i am not a dslr user hehe :P

btw its a breath taking image ... nature it is :)

thousand points to you :)

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22106} 1/13/2006
Ace:

I used ISO 1600 because there is not enough light in a cave and tripods are not allowed. Using a flash results in a pretty bad photo usually.
