Location City -  Kamakura
State -  KANAGAWA PREFECTURE
Country - Japan   Japan
About Kamakura is one of the locations I visit often to take photos. This pond is full of tall lotus in summer, but totally cleaned in winter. This pond has three islands. To one of these islands leads this red bridge around which white doves fly cooing. The island shelters a shrine where the merchants of the town come to pray for prosperity and good trade.

Wonderful classic Japanese garden! Love the red of the bridge and the delicate branches in the foreground. Wonderful colors and reflections, a calendar shot! Best regards, Ina

Lovely stereoscopic effect with delicate tracery of branches in the foreground and sharply etched bridge and shrine, with the forested hills behind.

Tanaka San, please don't bother to thank me for each and every comment. If you like, you can do what I do, and pay a return visit to leave a comment of your own. This is what I try to do. Unless you have loads of time, of course, and are not under continuous pressure of work as I usually am! (If so, lucky you!!)

Another good shot, Yoshiyuki! Very well composed...perfect example of the rule of thirds! Nice reflection, and I like the branches in the foreground. Nicely done!
