About Subject background: This picture is of my first roll from my new toy - the Fisheye Lomo. Wonderful plastic stuff, 170 degrees picture angle, just the right thing for a wideangle addict like me.

PS concept: Nothing special. This is Fisheye Lomo ;-)

Love it, turning something as simple as a yield sign and turning it into an interesting image. Well done~

I thought I was going down market with my Peleng 8mm fisheye, but I see you can go a lot further down than that! Fisheyes are fun, although I prefer rectangular to circular. Look forward to seeing what you do with this. I won't comment that your horizon isn't straight!!

na das nenn ich mal ein lustiges spielzeug, da darf man ja gespannt sein. und wieder bewahrheitet sich die alte philosophie: das rund muss in das eckige....oder umgekehrt...;-))

A new trend is arrive - Fisheye LOMO! Isn´t it Polaroid, it´s Holga with a backside pola, then woca, lomo and now lomo fisheye!!!! I´m never in catching into the new trends fast enough .... ;) Joking!!!! COOL shot Thilo and fun effect and nice colours!

Hi Thilo,
This certainly does give a different perspective on things! I see the three travellers continuing their journey in-between the two signs. There is something almost human like about the triangular sign. It's as if it is looking right into the circle.

Hi Ameed,

thanks for your words, my friend. The first roll with a toy is always special, and I have to learn a lot ;-)

Hi Roger,
well, I guess your 8mm is way more high quality than mine ;-) Now I need a holiday in wideangle cities like NYC to really test the toy =)

Hi Jeanette,
hopefully, this will become a new trend.. "don't look through the viewfinder" - well, with 170 degress, you for sure have different problems than getting the object into the image =)
