About I spent a long time creeping up on this bird. It knew I was there but seemed very tolerant. I'd shot many of it standing as I crept up but this was a chance grab as it eventually decided to fly into the water. Your comments would be hugely appreciated as I've not taken many similar wildlife shots before.

Thanks for viewing.

Your patience payed off. A very nice capture of this unusual bird. Nice light and detail.

This shot is just great, the blurred background, the sharp bird and the timing makes this photo a Winner! 7+ for sure!

Excellent capture of this bird launching itself, Daniel! That's a good technique, to take shots as you get closer, because you never know how close you can get, but it's great you were ready for this great shot.
Dave.

Terrific capture, Daniel. The clarity and composition are very nice. What I like most is the feeling of teetering on the brink of falling into the abyss. Will it fall? Will it fly? Very nice, indeed.
Steve
