About Same place, different view. It's about 1/3 mile firther up the hill than the last Kirkstone shot.

Got the colour version too - but quite like the dynamics of the different shades of grey on this.

Wonderful this B&W !
Perspective and the dinamique range of the light are greats, well done !

Wonderful tonal depth. The little stream takes my right into the depths of the valley. Oh wait...what's this??....a little nit pick. Something I never get to do because your images are always picture perfect.....what's this itty bitty little burnt white patch in the foreground in the water? I know it's small but to me it seems to be a tad burnt. Probably a hole in the clouds letting some light peep through to the water no doubt. Still I had to mention it cause it felt good. :)

A stunning shot. I hate you! (kidding of course - I said that cause I'm so jealous of your work) ;)

Cheers - Ann :)

....go on then. Let you have that one. It is the "white point" of the shot. When I do mono shots, I open a Levels Layer and use the blac k and white eye droppers to pick a point on the shot that should be white and black.

On this one, I picked the little bit of water as it was the brightest part of the shot. maybe should have burned it a bit to get the detail back :-)
