About A young girl having her photo taken at Tian An Men Square. The hat she's wearing is a traditional hat that dates from the Qing dynasty of the late 19th century, at that time worn by women with ties to the royal family. Most tourists who visit Beijing will visit Tian An Men Square, from where I took this photo. Tian An Men itself is actually the gate (or one of the gates) behind this girl which leads into the Forbidden City.

Ahh, Mr. James. Another from your epic joureny around China i see.

Nice colours on this one, i guess you resaturated a little in PS? A very interesting subject and particularly your 'about'.

I would howver like to have seen you recompose before shooting as she seems to have a pole growing out of her shoulder. Sometimes unavoidable i understand. I would personally have also tried a wider aparture to throw the background more out. With the amount of detail left i find it still a little distacting.

Regards and happy travels!!!
