Amazing composition. I like that her face isnt in the picture...the lips add to the "sex appeal"/sexiness of the opened shirt. Maybe a little lighter light on the side of her face but the light range works nicely. I really love it, very nice work!

Agreed; the crop hones in on an element of mystery and mystique, which in the context of a sensually evocative image such as this, make it a little more enticing; sort of the "element of danger" in combining sexuality and anonyminity. Very tasteful crop that, despite having not seen the original, I feel is safe to say enhances the image. My only quibble is technical - the left side of the image is so blown out that it's distracting. Images like this are near impossible to replicate unless you've got world-class models so it probably wouldn't be worth trying to reshoot for that, but in future work would keep those white object highlights in mind. It's an excellent image that rises above that one technical flaw. Keep up the good work.

I just looked at the rest of your folder and saw that the high contrast look is part of your style; I wrote my initial comment based on the one image I'd seen on the recent uploads page... having now seen the look you go for, my one complaint with the image is sort of irrelevant, though i'm yet to decide which version I like more; both are execellent.

I am so tired I have a hard time keeping my eyes open, so forgive me for being a bit quick, which might be a bit unfair towards this image, which I find very nice.
The framing does the job, featering beautifull lips and her breast makes for a nice curve within the frame as well. Toning and light are nice to, very warm, as if it were a hot day on the beach with a bit cold wind. Fresh air, is what comes to my mind when I see this photo.
Anyway to try to keep it short ; the only slight distraction IMO are the buttons.

to me theimage seems overall too soft imho or it could be weary eyes, i love the crop! it makes it so much more interesting, and agreeing with Julien, i think not having the buttons would bring attention straight to those sensual lips, and over all boost the 'sex appeal' of this.
Post more, there is TONNES of potential here and your going real well!!!

Thank you all for your comments and I agree with your suggestions. I really don't like the buttons but this photos are special because they were a gift to the model because she is my friend and it was her birthday. And the clothes were her choice... :) Once again, thank you.

This is in my favorites...it is so appropriate to be titled "no title". I love the cropping--adds to the sensual/sexuality...beautiful skin, curves and lips...I wouldn't change a thing--looks like a magazine ad for a skincare product...Nice work, Charisse

Photography is the art of subtraction so what you have taken out and what you have left in is very important. I love what you left in. The lips are perfect focal point but balanced beautifully by the buttons. Good work.

Marilia, this is wonderful! So sexy, sensual, mysterious and more, it's cerebral! i look at her mouth and i can't quite figure the upper lip..is that a bit of a sardonic twist in her expression, or is it shadow play? This is what provokes me most..her expression..i also love the crop, the tones, that gorgeous texture in the voile that compares so well with the texture in her lips, and, Marilia, i'm with Kevin, i love the buttons..they suggest nipples and the soft pearl texture is so sensual. best wishes, kat~

It's all about what is in the frame -- or this case what is not in the frame. The body language makes this a fablous image. the twist of the lips the hint of the breast the turned down shirt. WoW!!!

I have no idea how I missed this for so long. I think you have cropped it beautifully. The entire composition becomes one subtle triangle. The detail and sharpness is just right. Absolutely perfect. Brava!
