Beautiful abstract, Jeanette, and I love what the shadows do for it :)

karen clarke   {K:18847} 1/17/2006
That's Jeanette, finding something ordinary and turning it into an interesting abstract image. I know that I for one would not have stopped at this building to snap this shot. I like the way the windows play into it, with the lines from their blinds continuing the whole theme of lines in this image. They definitely add an interesting element. Nice find Jeanette~

Markus Scholz   {K:22743} 1/17/2006
A cool abstract, showing as the world as it is: slightly out of angle;) Congratulations!

Markus

Paolo Corradini   {K:50030} 1/17/2006

Hi Jeanette, a very well arranged composition of colours and patterns. And yes, I think it fits much better in the Lines Project. Very appealing image.

Cheers,

hugo

Niclas Mäkelä   {K:4879} 1/17/2006
A perfect shot for the "lines" project. I Like the way the diagonal lines cross over the horizontal lines... good patterns created by the highlighted & the shadowed areas of the wall.
Best regards,
Niclas

Mille grazie Marco!

Jeanette

Joggie van Staden   {K:41212} 1/18/2006
Excellent abstract Jeanette. It may be an optical illusion but hthe brown horizontal pattern seems soft while the white and blues are pretty sharp - although they seem to be on the same level/distance from the camera - very intriguing shot. Well done.
Joggie

Miguel Ángel Haro-Provinciale   {K:3149} 1/18/2006
Very nice architectural and ultra-sharp architectrual vision!.

regards,

Oui Lee   {K:3232} 1/18/2006
oh! hiding from the sun. in sweden!
:)

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 1/18/2006
The white middle part is closest to the camera, but in this distance it don´t count so much.... I think it depends on the contrast, the brown part seems softer cause of the colour.

Jeanette

Aram Gharib   {K:4086} 1/19/2006
Very nice abstractogeometric shot. The perfect and neat facades and surfaces continue to surprise me!! Congratulations!

Nigel Watts   {K:10748} 1/19/2006
WOW - can't say anything else, so WOW is a perfect description
Nigel

Fern    {K:2509} 1/19/2006
I like it! emphasizes the strong lines of the building facade. Funny, the way this building looks, this is what I want to do with the outside of my house (but the husband isn't sure at all). I was just looking at sites to plead my case (instead of going to work)
fern

Kamran Bakhtiari   {K:15664} 1/20/2006
really great and you know it.

Mark Longo   {K:12757} 2/16/2006
A feast of lines! I'm sure this is something the architect had in mind when creating this design. You have taken tremendous advantage of these lines and the sun angle in creating this image. The angle of diagonal presentation is clearly a key to helping the viewer see the lines first and the building structure second. A great technique!

Mark

João Tavares   {K:39114} 2/20/2006
