have u tried correcting the fish eye in PS?

sometimes looks good if u use non full frame fish eyes

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 1/17/2006
Hi Terry,

No, I didn't try that because this a toy cam with a fixed Fisheye and it's the sole duty of this cam to make these weird looks ;-) Hope this helps for my motivation.

Thx, Thilo

oh right thats cool,.. i used a door peep hole and a lens cap with a screwed hole in the middle once it worked and gave half frame fish eye although you had to zoom in alittle or the lens cap would obviously be seen

Hi Thilo,
More from your "doors" theme!
Windmills and Museums. What's next?
I didn't even know those wind mills had doors! We have one not too far from us. I'll have to have a look at it now. I guess they have to get up there to throw some oil on it somehow.
It does remind me of the Saturn 5 from that super wide angle perspective!
Andre

nice one Thilo, very creative :)

Hugo de Wolf   {K:184981} 1/18/2006
Heheheh.... Could this perhaps be the reason the thing they're shooting at Pluto is postponed? Some SOB photographer wanting to take a last minute snap at the rocket...:P

Very nice, Thilo, I guess this is a windmill, but with this extreme combination of camera and angle you've taken it right out of its usual perspective. Nice! It definitely does have that "stellar feel"

Cheers,

hugo

Hi Terry,

that's a great idea... will think about that.

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 1/18/2006
Hi Andre,
stay tuned, I have some more weird fishies waiting for being uploaded ;-)

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 1/18/2006
Hi Hugo,

thanks for the feedback. I think I need some time to fully "exploit" the potential of the technique ;-)

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 1/18/2006

You know it makes me think of being in an aircraft. Great idea shooting upwards for this shot, I like the inclusion of the railings helping to contain you. Nice find~
