In this case, i think the image may have been much more powerful without the man. That is such an incredible wave break - its detail and tones are stunning. The low quality of the man and his inability to seem a part of the image detracts from the photo.

What I like the most is the way that the wave appears like a mountain surrounded by foggy skies. I may have gone for a silhouette effect with the man and the umbrella. Very dramatic image, absolutely wonderful~

Beautiful scene, almost plastic waves frozen. I like the layer mask vignette, and the composition. I also like the face in the waves, which no one seems to mention.
