When I sae the thumbnail and the title, I tought "this is a beautiful and original macro". Instead is a wiew. Beoutiful color. I'm afraid for the seagulls destiny. It isn't a real paradise.

The colour within the pools are unreal - must go there myself. As for the seagulls - brainless birds at the best of times.

Tabitha, you definitely should be proud of this picture. The main composition of the thermal pool itself is fascinating, but what really clinched it was the extra aspect of the gulls, especially the one flying down.
The only things I'd have liked to see is a slightly warmer colour, the gulls look a bit too bright. And perhaps a bit more cropping off the bottom.
But AMAZING capture! Wow!
