Caught wonderfully well. This is an example of extremely accomplished panning technique or extremely good fortune. i was so near my dear rina.. i have looked this cycleman from long 150mt, in those moment i was photograph the forest and, with my eye seeit the bycicle man i have shoted.. i was in the lines of the street without car..and the man looked me, in the pre-flash! is a real immediate street, maybe a little lucky!

Hi Roberto, wonderfull shot here. The background moving really gives you the idea of speed. The cyclist is wonderfully still, doesn;t move. Excellent job here! He's perfectly lit, while the background is a bit dark. Did you use a flash? Wonderfull job!

A great shot! I am a great bike racing fan, and we have not to many fans in the USA. It is a great sport and very well appreciated in your country. I hope someday to come and see the Giro! When I have watched it on television, it shows many very beautiful scenes of Italy!
So I enjoy look at this shot very much. There is a lot of motion captured in this panning shot. you have used this technique well and so captured the sense of speed. Excellent!

sure, the Giro d’Italia is a marvelous bike race.. furthermore in 2008 in championship of the cycling world it will be its in my town – Varese.. is not a big town, but an excellent field for cycling, many high and low, many hills and mountains, many lakes. if you want, the possibility of being is.. the Giro (like all the world) lets the beautiful one of the land see.. Wow, it must be so exciting for you to have the championship coming to your town! You must plan carefully for excellent photographs! You are very lucky!
And all that you say of the Giro is true, of course. My opinion is that in many respects it is superior to the Tour de France, which is the more famous race here in the USA. A pity. The Giro d'Italia has more spectacularly beautiful countryside, more beuatiful cities and towns, and also is a more difficult test in the mountains for the racers, I think. One stage of this year's Giro, for example, has a brutal climb of 24% grade on unpaved road! It will be a great good fortune for me to come to Italy and follow some of the Giro someday.
