Christian good portrait of the young lady. Very clean composition and nice dynamic face expression of the girl makes the picture vivid. Cheers, n.j

This is a cute shot Christian. This is a tough one as the black and whites aren't real consistent. If you give the skin more contrast (less flat) you blow that tissue out! How do you convert your black & whites or do you shoot in black & white?

I love this shot...and because of Dina's comment, I played a bit with it. I did blow out the whites...but I don't think it is horrible.

My attempt....

Dina, I shoot in color and then remove it. Don't know if that is right or wrong way. I try to adjust "levels" to get contrast, but not really using any set formula. I run into issues like this alot with my kids who are blonde, especially when outside. Thanks for any tips. - Christian

What a sweet photo. Great b/w conversion too. You have some very nice photos in your collection. I especially love kid shots and you've got some beauties!
