Mariusz Sprawnik   {K:114} 3/9/2006
i like this one :). Maybe it's bacause I was trying to make some shots of the bicycles myself :))
I'm wondering how it would look in b&w ???

Rick Sowerby   {K:1782} 3/9/2006
Mariusz - I had originally intended this shot to be black and white, but it somehow looked very flat and took a lot of the interest out of the tones of the metal (particularly the pedal), as well as removing the green of the door in the top-right which I felt helped tie the foreground and background together.

I ended up using a series of filter layers in Photoshop to get something that approached black and white with the limited colour saturation, but which rendered the noise a little better and retained the tones I wanted in the metalwork.

Thanks for your comment though, and glad you liked it :)
