A good timeless capture. I like the rough stone wall as a setting for this portrait, really fits the mood. An interesting frame composition wise - neither the subject nor the window frame is totally in the shot, quite a clever idea. Thankyou for your comments Gertrud!

took a look in your portfolio and you seem to me to use different camera for a certain style. i like the from zenit best. perhaps because a 50mm human eye-like lens was attached. very impressive shots & tones. cheers...

I was reviewing your portfolio, you have wonderful portrait images in black and whites. Her expression and the angle of her face in this photo is very natural. The background and the center composition is also very nice! It is not symetrical because of the off centerd window... good composition... : )
