I like the cut of this photo. A question...who lives at the first floors had not windows???

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 1/23/2006
Oh - i think this building has 3-4 floors but all have only windows to 2 directions - not on this side. All apartments has 2 windows at 2 directions, to this one too should be 3. The window you see i think is the attic!

Hi Jeanette,
"a particular corner of shot. I like the not centrality of the subject and the focus on the shadow". This was the comment to the first image;-))
This new shot is more evocative than the old and I feel the vertigo for the corner of this shot;-))

Thankyou Paola! I was so unsure about the first one, even though i like it as an unusual way of showing something... and the shadow etc etc. But this feels more like me...BUT, i´m little tired to be "as me"... i do´t wanna do the same....all the time!

Jeanette

Best wishes, Kurt

Another excellent shooting angle to produce this great perspective of an ordinary building this time Jeanette. The rich sky colour looks great and I love the side fringe of the tree and it's shadow in the opposite corner. Well done sweetie. Best wishes to you...Ray

Saeed Al Shamsi   {K:47543} 1/23/2006

Markus Scholz   {K:22812} 1/23/2006
Your graphical sense for forms and composition in photographs is unbeliefably creative, Jeanette. This is another example for it. Fantastico!

Regards, Markus

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 1/23/2006
Very interesting angle Jeanette, Including the tree branch adds to the composition as well, the white building against the sky colors makes a very nice composition dear, very well done,
Cheers,

Kamran Bakhtiari   {K:16237} 1/23/2006
i like the shadows on the wall, great blue and
white sense,A+ to your eye.

Niclas Mäkelä   {K:4879} 1/23/2006
Great snapshot Jeanette, the way the wall cuts the cold blue sky is really something. Also like those blue reflections in the windows.
-Niclas

Marco D.S.   {K:5658} 1/23/2006
Great point of view and good cut: I like the shadow on the right, and the blu sky! Cheers,
Marco

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 1/23/2006
Fantastic angle and composition with the straight edge of the house corner, the complex tree and corner shadow. Great blue sky and contrast, but most of all I like the weirdness of the three windows at the top, it makes the image a bit ghostly and surreal, even in the daytime! Best regards, Ina

Gorilla  K   {K:17526} 1/23/2006
...nice and a creativ point of view...good contrast from the with house and blue sky!!!

best regards,
Winfried

Rima Dario   {K:4427} 1/23/2006
Sguardo sempre in alto.
Ciao Dario.

Giulio Rotelli   {K:28400} 1/23/2006

Jeanette

Roberto Okamura   {K:22842} 1/23/2006

Mireille Heirendt   {K:7258} 1/23/2006

jeanette

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 1/23/2006
I´m glad you like the tree and the shadow of it. I thought that it will make it somehow different from my "normal" clean shots....

Jeanette

Danny Brannigan   {K:16246} 1/23/2006
I think the tree with the shadow is quite important here and you have done well to include them Jeanette.

Ninni Termine   {K:8961} 1/23/2006
I like a lot the cut exasperated of the image with an angularity mitigated by the twisted tree that perfectly detaches on the white of the wall.
Ciao
Ninni

Branimir Fagarazzi   {K:38367} 1/23/2006
Excellent shot

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 1/23/2006
White corner or black three? For my disposition I have a better look for the second.
Your pics are never trivial.

Giuseppe

Gertrud Gozner   {K:14222} 1/23/2006

Emgy Massidda   {K:60169} 1/24/2006
Jeanette, you have the insight and capacity of turning even a snapshot into something beautifully artistic in a way or other. It really amazes me.Your work is a continuus source of inspiration and a treat for the eye. Lovely building, great perspective and a very nice composition. The inclusion of the bizarre tree branches plus shadow, adds something "playful" to this image. Unique work!!!!
I love it!

Emgy

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 1/24/2006
Saeed - i guess you mean when it´s winter there and i can imagine why, the heat! Am i right?

Jeanette

Fabio Keiner   {K:42917} 1/24/2006

Saeed Al Shamsi   {K:47543} 1/24/2006
Yes Jeanette
You are absolutely right, although, Homes, cars and shopping are all air-condition. Best time from October to May. Who knows may be, in future will have a Japanese air conditioning Clothes :) then it will be ok in summer.
Saeed

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 1/24/2006
Dear Saeed - thanks for the mid day laugh I love the idea of that Japanese air conditioned cloth :))

Hi Jeanette
this is very cool
great angle and composition

Joggie van Staden   {K:41275} 1/25/2006
Excellent abstract Jeanette. Maximum impact with minimal elements. The colours are rich and saturated, the lines bold and well balanced with the tree and its shade. Exposure of the dominating white wall is spot on. Great work - you have a great eye for composition and detail.
Joggie

Ann Nida   {K:45230} 1/25/2006
This has great beauty and interest Jeanette. I love the perspective and the tree framing the left side while the shadow highlights the right. Lovely contrasts in the white building against the rich blue sky. Very pleasing to view.

Thank you again for your kind comments on my images.

Cheers - Ann :)

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 1/26/2006
As an abstract, it's indescribably beautiful. You don't want to recognize it; just see it as abstract.

Mohamed Banna   {K:34222} 1/26/2006

great angle
outstanding color (blue)
perfect proportions
i like this semi abstract style

Gökhan KARAMAN   {K:8866} 1/26/2006

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 1/29/2006
Den var fin. Jag gillar hur det vita är helt utan struktur, tar bort lite realism och passar bra med träd-silhuetten.

Yutaka Itinose   {K:21344} 1/30/2006
Clean beauty.Really nice compositon makes me so alive Thanks Jeanette.
