Another great macro! I really like the bright green color of the leaf contrasted with the dark color of the fly.

Wow! What a macro! Excellent! What I am wondering is how in the world you get him to sit still while you are setting up the flash system???

Hi Kathy, thanks for the comment. I had two flash units (wireless)- held the on in my left hand, undeneath the leaf, while holding the camera with mounted flash in the right hand. Moving slowly closer like this (with the added cramps in the butt) without scaring the subject. These small insects are jut to alert & mobile and gets scared off too easily to set up the system on a tripod etc. Lots of sweat and patience but I love the reward!

The SB-R200 system consists of a commander unit to mount on the hotshoe and two separate flash units (additional units can be added to create 3 groups of 3 flashes each). The strength of each flash group can be determined independently by the commanding unit which activate them wirelesly.

Kind regards.
Joggie
