Most of all I like the point of view of this image! It is a very elegant composition. The colours make the picture eye-catching. The light and shadows are ideal!

Thanks so much, Andree. I agree about the symmetry. To me it's intriguing that the city beyond the grounds of the pagoda seems offset to the left, as if there were some giant fault there. Actually, that would be fitting because the rupture between the old China and the new is so very great.
