Lovely shot Nadia, one that i'm quite familiar with ;) Wonderful hints of green which help to highlight your eyes - which are shimmering in the light! Great detail, it's like we are making real eye contact. After a while, due to the tight crop, it looks weird - just that slight hint of a smile.
Looking forward to what the next shot 'reveals',

Thank you Alan, yes, many a photo filter, change of colour balance and mixing of channels went into one layer of the eye (oh and shadow/highlight, which made it look freaky to be honest, I thought i looked downright crazy in this photo, hence the title) and just a couple of colour changes to the whole face. Thanks for your interest. When doing that it's hard not to end up with a million different versions with a metallic magenta eye, blue, purple, etc :) This is pretty close to the actual colour though...(rambling, sorry :))

There are a lot of things I like about this shot Nadia. Just the hint of a smile for one. Great focus too and perfect cropping for a couple more. I personally don't care for the green cast above your eye and in your hair, but maybe that's part of the presentation?

Very lovely! Just that the difference in the tones from outside to the centre bothered me a bit! Though the results on the eye are spot on! Btw looking at it some more times makes me feel the magic-attraction of the image lies in the not-all-perfect/monotonous part of it! :0) Hehe! Anyways!, DOF works well here as well! & love the smile(as well as smiling eye) & hair on one side!
