Hi Bryan,

yes, itīs a posed photo. it was taken for a musicmagazin and maybe cd-cover. the guy is a musician and the theme was "Feel what you canīt see". he is experimentating with sounds of nature etc. very interessting. look at www.underwater-piltos.com

It is amazing the impact that eyes have on a portrait, and in this case how not being able to see them affects the result. Congrats on a fine image.
