About A bitterly cold evening as the night shift at the factory continues production . This is the second upload of this image as something happened on the first attempt . What struck me about this scene , and what I hoped to capture , was the contrast between the calm quiet residential neighborhood lit with nice warm lighting , and the gloomy factory lit in a very errie green in the background . Almost every resident of this town works at this factory , and people refer to it very sullenly as "the mill" . I got the impression that people worked there because they had to , not because they wanted to .

Hi Rob,

I would say you succeeded! I have been through Edmundston a couple of times and remember seeing "the mill". A great capture of the town and the mood of the moment.

Cool shot, Rob! I was going to say that this must be Edmundston... the photograph is beautiful, but the scene is horrible, if you know what I mean.

Well done Rob, just proves that there is beauty everywhere if you look for it. I'm sure the locals would be surprised at how good the town and 'the mill' can look.
