They certainly make for interesting and colourful images. You certainly have a way of making something quite urban look so beautifully abstract. Lovely colours and textures here and I love the lines against the blue sky. Super perspective. Great shot.

Thank you for your comment on my Pom Pom Trees image.

Cheers - Ann :)

No Makrus, this is the third shot i post today, two others i posted and removed....so i was so unsure what to post. The first one lost the saturation during the post and therefore i removed... but at least i decided for this one ;)

brian underdown   {K:-1257} 1/29/2006
you must have a third eye because you find some very interesting angles and you have created something out of nothing or something we never bother to look at.when i first looked at this i thought tall derelict industrial buildings.however reading the title tells me more, that it is containers on a slow moving train?.

brian

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59855} 1/29/2006

Fantastic shot Jeanette! I love containers too :) Great perspective - the containers are like huge buildings - great angle, you must have been pretty close! It looks like you were almost under the train! The colors and patina are superb, and the inclusion of letters makes this train a fabulous abstract! Best regards, Ina

luis pereira   {K:22561} 1/30/2006
Very neolitic Jeanette. Isn't it strange that these containers look so much like modern buildings? I enjoyed this image very much.

Andrzej Pradzynski   {K:22148} 1/31/2006
Jeanette,

it's not realy that important it's a L'institut du Monde Arabe in Paris or a slowly passing cargo train, more important is what one can do about it if one intent to picture it.

You are for sure have at least a couple good ideas of attractive expression of the scene. I'm just wondering how many passing trains I have missed.

I like the geometry here (surprise, surprise). I like color palete (wow! no wonder), I like the clear skies and the rust and the dust picked up from all the tracks of the continent.

Cool stuff indeed, Cheers, n.j

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59855} 1/31/2006
Thankyou dear Andrzej!
