About Just started using a Panasonic/Lumix DMC-FZ5 with the Leica lans (man, that's a mouthfull to say). Outstanding little point-n-shoot! Great little weapon to have around all the time...like when you're dashing in the rain from the parking lot to the store, and you catch out of the corner of your eye a 2005 Austin Martin DB9 parked a few cars away from yours.

Wow, what a cool image with the FZ-5! Indeed a nice camera (I have the older FZ-10 and still love it). Beautiful composition in the rain, great effect of waterdrops, and perfect lighting!

Good shot, lovely, and simple.

Lucky man to live in CA and have access to a lot of material us hosses don't get in Kansas.

Welcome to usefilm, enjoy. Thanks for the comment.

Only suggestion is to really leave this alone as a subtle image, or add a bit of contrast and highlights to make it pop for a rock-star feel.

Michael

I hear ya. Good ol' Marin County.. ArmourAll on Hummer wheels.

Ya know.. there's no more information to pull from this image! The camera was left 1 stop down when I grabbed it in a hurry to shoot the picture, and the original is SO dark, that I culd only go so far before the poor little 8bit JPEG image gave up the ghost, and started to quantize.

I went for that 'bling' look as much as possible. May head to the dealership to see if they'll let me shoot the Vanquish :)

When I get home, I'll upload the original to this thread for ya to see.

Thanks for the suggestion!! I so agree with you!

cheers,
-Joel
