Hi Michael,
Yup that looks like a Google map of the island. Sounds like a good trip....it is way to much CITY for me....but if you get a chance you might like to go to Hornby Island for a few days. You will not be disappointed. I travel lots to various places and this place is unbeatable for panoramic visions of landscape. With great beaches as well as mountain views on all sides never mind the swimming and premo diving. You can see a lot by clicking on "hornby Island" category in my port. but if time is short another couple of places to check out that is closer would be San Juan Island in WA. Or Victoria in B.C. both accessed from the same 2 ferries. One ferry is passenger only, a Catamaran ...way fast....and the other a car ferry ...slower. One way or the other I hope the wedding is fun and that you get out a bit to shoot some shots that we will be looking forward to seeing.
