Wonderful blue sky and yellow green bushes.... nice composition and the water in the middle adds... ;D

Thanks. Here is the original. I don't post these often, but you can see some of the PS work.

Hi Mike, In reply to your about, I think you'd better wait till Al puts the articles online... Why spoil the surprise for everyone!

I do believe you picked a very good example, though. Very interesting scene, and a helluva post processing job. Quality wise, it's top Notch, and I like the composition here too, using the stream to guide the eye towards the mountain ridge in the rear of the image. The yellowish shrubs on the right emphasise that line. Good work....:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Hugo:

I just noticed the freaky symmetry - kind of an unintentional mirroring left and right.

Hi - i´m not surpriced. If you use a digital SLR the colours are not as saturated as from a compact one, needs more PS work. And if you use RAW, even more. But you did a good work ;)

Great landscape image Michael, great colors in the ground brush and great PS work! It could very well work in the 2:1 crop to show in a pano format. My pictures look the same out of the camera, but it's better when you do the adjustments, and not the camera! I'll be reading your article.
