Hi Thilo, I like this clean a composition, as well as the way you captured the textures and the tonal range. It shows the age of the piece of art. Good shot, and a very good composition.

ich mag es das die Schatten und Reflektionen von Block zu Block verändern...b&w ist die einzige Wahl hier...
ich habe mal beim Manövrieren auf dem Flughafen München etwas Ähnliches gesehen

A very cool futuristic abstract...could be from Fritz lang's Metropolis. What's the D200 Like ? It's impossible to get hold of in Sweden right now. I'm #3 on a waiting list in Uppsala and hopefully it will arrive sometime in february.

Super shot there Thilo!! Wonderful tones and clarity and I love the shadow play on the boxes (even with a shadow in a shadow)!!! Great angle and diagonal composition... super 'clean and simple' image, glad you borrowed that camera... ;-D!!!

yeah, Nikon D200...will buy one as soon as you get it in Germany =)
good idea with the space. the subject was very difficult as the cropping wasn't easy.

Hey Magnus,
If you ever tried the D200, you will never take a D70 in your hand ;-) After the over-the-weekend-trial, I placed my D70 on Ebay to get some bucks before the cam is worthless. I probably have to wait some weeks, but in the meantime, I go analog.
Everything is so much better with the D200... The shutter sound (!), the display, the viewfinder, the handling... it's even a spiritual thing =)

the D200 is great, and if you used a D70 before, you don't have much fun with the old camera anymore =)

hi, nice geometry and tonal range...like the diagonal composing and the dimension...well seen and executed...i will have to read about the D200 since i am considering adding a digital at some point and am a loyal Nikon user...

Hi Thilo! Awesome abstract with a perfect tonal range! I read recently the test results of D200 in a Swedish photo magazine (Foto 2/2006); a bull´s eye according to it (top class and very price-worthy) ...
