Very good eye!

This is a wonderful shot! I love the gate at on the stairs! Along with the windows all having bars in them, this is a perfect image of contrast! The details in this image are perfect! If there's one very minor thing to be done, would be slight pinch in to correct the lens distortion.

Beautiful capture! VERY well done!

cheers,
-Joel

Hey -

After checking out your portfolio, you might want to look at Todd Miller, Kostas Tzanetos, and Jeanette Hägglund.

Great shot. I'd like to see a person on the stairs, this would hold the viewers attention longer and make more of a story with the picture.

Thank you for that! Jeanette Hägglund's work is just stunning!
cheers,

Great image Michael! I like the reduced palette on this and the simple geometric pattern the windows form together with the diagonal of the stairs. The low ground cut is excellent. Other than this, I wonder what a true fisheye would do - depending on what else there is :) Very nice transition from dark to light from the sidewalk to the upper part of the picture.

Hi Micael, interesting composition; basically 2D if it weren't for the steps. As to the composition, I think you could loose some of the left of the face, I think it would remove the centered feel of the image by placing the middle emergency door away from the vertical centerline. Nice shot, not easy to turn this into something interesting, but you handled it well...:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Sorry I missed you the other day; I was away on business.
