Great Picture Susie, it is a very intense expression. Very good in black and white. Don.

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 2/4/2006
Excellent portrait in the rear view mirror, Susie! I recognize the family blue-eyes! Superb DOF around the mirror, excellent selective focus, and great choice to go to B & W. She seems a little worried, I hope it's nothing serious!
I would crop that little stem from the mirror going up, leaving just the mirror, so the white goes all around and continues beyond the frame.
Cheers, Ina

Laura Spell   {K:24080} 2/4/2006
Very good! The tones, light and details are excellent. That is a worried look in her eyes, traffic must have been awful! lol

Kathy Hillard   {K:25721} 2/4/2006
She does look pretty intense, Sissy! I think what she was worried about was that wacko in the backseat aiming a camera at her!!! :) The b&w was a good choice here...and Denny recognized her eyes immediately!
Kath

Robin Wickenkamp   {K:16440} 2/4/2006
Yeah, the b&w adds to the intense mood, great choice Susie! Kathy beat me to the punch...I was going to ask if she was worried about the crazy Auntie in the back seat! ;)
Thank you for the comments... Collin was thrilled to see his pic and receive comments, you helped make his day!
Take care...Robin

Still amazes me how much can be felt from so little bit of a person's face! Nice job seeing this, Susie!

Sheila Carson   {K:5912} 2/4/2006

It is either a look of worry or one of intense concentration Susie....excellent piece of creative and opportunistic photography. Looks wonderful in these mono tones, adding to the deep moodiness of the situation. Well done sweetie, fantastic shot. Best wishes as always...Ray (hope THE CAFE is doing well for you both...best wishes on that as well)

Puripaso One   {K:13956} 2/4/2006

Ann Nida   {K:45230} 2/4/2006
Good job Susie and it must have been difficult lighting conditions to shoot straight towards the windshield like that. Good capture of the eyes so nice and sharp and yes she does have an intent look in her eyes. Great shot. Well done.

Cheers - Ann :)

Rashed Abdulla   {K:154808} 2/4/2006

Randy Lorance   {K:24958} 2/4/2006
This is a cool shot you captured, the title is a good fit, the look of worry could be seen even in the thumbnail. Coupled with driving a car, it invites imagination of the situation-is she late, what has happened, ect.? The BW adds a starkness emphasising the emotion. Really a nice composition.

Randy

Kes     {K:18710} 2/4/2006

Susie OConnor   {K:34798} 2/5/2006
Hey Kari! I was hoping that you wouldn't be mad at your crazy picture shooting Aunt! )
I know you weren't worried, but the title fit the pic so well I just HAD to use it! Someone else said they though it might be Kathy too...she should love that!
Hope you guys are doing good and that we see you again soon!
Love, Sus

Tracey Main   {K:7294} 2/5/2006
And she does look very worried, I think if someone was in the back with a camera I'd be worried Lol.. a great capture Susie she might not have you in the back seat again hehe Trace..

Ninni Termine   {K:8961} 2/5/2006
Very original, the created mysterious atmosphere remembers me a frame of a yellow film.

Ciao
Ninni

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 2/5/2006
Brilliant idea and I really like the way it is mounted. Seems like a shot from a film.

Rina     {K:26830} 2/6/2006
Spot on Susie! You've definitely captured an ernest expression here. Great idea to convert to B&W. Keeps the attention solely on the expression. Well done by you :)

Cheers
Rina

Kelly Duntley   {K:13055} 2/6/2006
This is too funny. It reminds me of a scene from an twilight show. I can see the fade into... a woman driving down a dark alley, lost, she finds herself in the twilight zone.
