You better don't let the oil run out, Petal. Never thought of caves in the netherlands. Must be way under sea level!

Here in the south we're some 100 to 200 meters above sealevel, but you right in a way.... These caves were once the bottom of a subtropical ocean and the sandstone deposits are therefore riddled with fossils of shells and shark teeth among others...
