Hi Mary,
I don't see dark thoughts in this image.
I see a look of contentment and peacefulness. I see it around the lips and eyes. As if she is concentrating on music.
I like the texture of the multiple image (if that's what it is?) It seems as though there is a fence at the bottom of the image. Maybe she is dreaming of a favourite spot?

Very, very beatiful and interesting.
I like particularly the slight angle of the mouth with the violet that decomes more and more dark in the high zone of the shot... Ciao
