What a great shot, the mans expression is just priceless. The light reflecting off the water brings out the texture i the road while making the man stand out even more. Excellent work.

Hai gestito al meglio i forti contrasti presenti in situazioni come questa.
Dando piena luce al viso avresti perso molto del piacevole dettaglio presente sul porfido.
Ottima la scelta del momento che ti ha fatto cogliere una situazione simpaticissima. Per non parlare dell'espressione del soggetto che lascia spazio alle più disparate interpretazioni.

Grazie Gabriella per i Tuoi apprezzatissimi commenti, si decisamente e' stato un colpo di fortuna vedermi sbucare da quel tombino quella testa, stavo passeggiando per la via principale di Dubrovnic in vacanza e ovviamente con la fotocamera appesa al collo e non me lo sono fatto scappare! Sono molto affezionato a questa foto anche perche' ho ottenuto il secondo piazzamento in un Contest Fotografico. Un caro Saluto....Walter

What a great capture, Walter. This is top notch! Only thing I might do is crop it so he is not so centered. I would have a hard time deciding on cropping off the top or bottom, though.
But what a capture!
