I thank you for your nice comment, Partha. I have made a tour in your gallery and discovered beautiful pictures. I see that you too, the same as me, love pics against the light, with stark contrasts. My favorites are: Returning Home, Dreaming, Fisherman, Twilight Beauty, Sandakhphu, The Carriers.

Laura, the sun just emerged from the sea and a single ray went through the edge awakening the calla. My only merit was to get up early in the morning!

At first I thought the background was black but actually it has a hint of colour - very nice. I like the way you have lit the subject and love the shape and curves. Nice work.

Thanks Greg for your attention. The light on the calla is not my merit. It is due to a filtering ray of the sun just appeared out of the sea.
