Amazing depth and tones here Ace! Strangly skewed perspective too. The foreground grass is telling me the the scene is straight but the slight slant of the land and the leaning tree are doing their best to confuse my senses! :)) Wonderful work overall my friend.

i love this approach of using a strong high grass foreground something ive being trying myself recently but im waiting for the summer season over here. i think the horizon level has already been made ,what i would have like to have seen is a sharp natural grass with highlights on the grass having a touch of white and less yellow and less green on the tree. your on the right track .
do a search for Carsten Ranke who sadly doesnt come here anymore you will see what im saying .

Hi Ace, I like your low angle and almost monochromatic treatment here. As much as I like your outstanding sunsets - and they are - I find it hard to comment in much other terms than colors and composition. I love to see the ground! So this is why I like this very much. The skewed perspective adds an interesting twist, as Rina said, and the lonely tree a sense of doom, even though the grass is green. The greenish-ness of the trees and yellow sky all convey a surreal atmosphere. Well done! Ina

My comment was that I like your Velvet Morning, and I was pleased to see an image that I'm more comfortable to write about than something as abstract as clouds. I think your work with clouds is outstanding, as I said before, and I mean it, but I can't write too much about clouds - other than "great color, shape, composition." With something like Velvet Morning I'm more comfortable writing, that's me! Best regards - Ina
