I just love the rockies, the colors and beauty that surrounds it just takes your breath away. You have done just that and really captured it's bauty. I really like your composition having the trees in the foreground, giving you a nice perspective. Great work on capturing the colors and maintainning the expure in the shadows. Keep up the good work.

Lovely composition, Jose! I love the Rockies too. I believe this is the Valley of the Ten Peaks. I used to live in Banff, in the early 1970s. It was foolish to leave!

I was walking to your marvellous photo art-gallery igen, by a sudden I though, it is painting. I thought certainly as a complement. The colour of the blue sky, the shadow and the strong reflection of light in the water tells about the reason of my thought!

Jose, please tell me about shooting these waters. You have a beautiful turquoise here, others are decidely more teal (+green) or aqua, but not as vivid as this one. Is it the time of day (sunlight), chemical make-up of the water (naturally) or color compensated (filtered)? I ask, because I am planning a first-time visit in the Fall to the Parks (Banff & Jasper) and this color is something I have to try and capture for myself. Thank you!

Looks like a bit of a weird blueish colour cast over the entire image.
Very good composition indeed, but those blues look quite artificial. I'd not want to swim in water that colour ;)
