Hi Goncalo,

Nice capture - I love the deep blue, the shadows and the unusual lighting.

Can you tell us a little more about how this was shot?

Laura

Gonçalo Franco   {K:1773} 2/13/2006
well:) it's very simple Laura! As you saw i used 35mm Pentax and a 28-80mm lens. usef Fuji Superia as a film and if i'm not mistake it was a 400 because that's what i use the most and slso beause it was late afternoon. It a picture taken in EnKerem ( where john the baptist was born) near jerusalem. I was living in Jerusalem 8 months last year. About the light and the tones its all photoshop. I mean, the the unusual lightening was made with "lightening effects" and the tones of blue were adjusted in "selective colour" The contrast is pretty natural, don't ask me to tell you what was the speed of the shutter because i dont remember... but i know that i opened the diafragm to the maximum. - a picture taken in less then a minute... and worked/edited for about 1h30m :)
