Aw yes you really did a wonderful job here capturing a apecial moment, and ever more importand a special time, and then changing it.
Im sure the way you felt on that day taking it that it was anything but bright and yet that is the first thing you think of when you look at this photo. its a perfect color for the job as well! Your compostion is strong. Nice detial as well only just one thing.....I thougth I say it and blew it up to find out that you miss alittle of red on the bottom of her coat when processing... Im sure you have noticed that.
Hey! Id give it higher than a 10
if they'd let me ....so 7+

You Did fine Mary, don't worry about it. I do the same thing thats why I brought it up. I have learned to really blow it up big and look. Not sure its right but have started to work it at one size and then zoom it it a couple times and work it again one or two times.......May not be
the best way....but I find I get more of it.
lol.........

this is a very beautiful image and it is presented in a very nice manner ,the composition ,depth of field ,contrast and details are all very great ,you did a great job here ,so go on and show us more of this .All of the best my friend .

Wow..What more can I say. I love this image, black and white with the red highligthed really appeals to me, I've tried a couple but none have worked, you deffinatly acheived what you set out to do! Kent always seems to be cold and grey at the moment :) By the way, thank you for commenting on my photos, really appreciate it and glad you liked them. Em :) X

I will be keeping track of yours for inspiration! You already gave me the idea of trying to capture the texture of the strings on a guitar!

I love this earlier shot of yours Mary. A great example of selective colouring, a technique I admire and indulge in myself. Always works well with red. Well done dear Mary....very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Great idle, you picked the right color, I like this it looks like these two are friends. I love going places with my friend, but she is working a lot these days, I miss all the time we was together when she didn't have to work.
