Things things scare the shit out of me. I came accross one of these mountain biking around a lake in Northern California. It haunts me to this day to think what would happen to be sucked into one during a storm; how helpless you would feel.

good to hear you are into mountain biking John there is something that tends to draw you towards it too which is bloody scary.. pic att is youngets son Eliot (18YO0) going over Big Bertha a jump on "Not For The Faint Hearted" one of several tracks he and his older Brother Lachlan have built on a nearby mtn..Eliot's on a Kona Stinky and Lach a Norco A Line.. both mad in my opinion

Yeah I get the heebie jeebies seeing these drains. Can never stop myself thinking exactly how I could kill myself and at what point would it definitely be curtains and I couldn't swim back. Hate that.
